Updated: Amosun presents N420.63bn last budget of his administration

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Wednesday, presented the 2019 budget of N420.63bn to the State House of Assembly.

Presenting the budget tagged, "Budget of Enduring Legacy", Governor Amosun informed the Assembly that in the last seven years, his administration upgraded and rehabilitated over 600km of existing roads, and opened new roads of over 350km.
He also said that new bridges and flyovers were constructed across the three senatorial districts of the state since he came into the saddle.
Breaking down the budget, Governor Amosun said that the 2019 budget estimate represents 17% increase over the previous year's budget size of N345.4bn.
The governor explained that N254.005bn, representing 63.1%, will be spent on capital projects, while N148.57bn, representing 36.90%, will be spent on recurrent expenditure.
