In
the perfect world, couples would not argue or fight over anything. Everything
would just be rosy. But there’re some things you can stop to avoid unnecessary
drama in your partnership.
Stop
comparing
Being content with yourselves and
together as a couple is great a place to be at. Accepting that you aren’t
Beyonce and Jay Z and this will save you from being pressured and insecured
about your relationship.
Don’t take everything too seriously
Like anything in life, you’ll
experience many highs and lows; it’s all part of the journey. Avoid dwelling in
the downfalls you’ve had. There’s more to life than the negative.
Don’t be a nag
Having a partner that’s always on
your case can be irritating. As opposed to criticizing your partner, rather
point out what you aren’t happy about and try finding possible solutions
that’ll be fair for both parties.
Avoid lying
One major thing that breaks
relationship is lie. Trusting someone doesn’t come easily and once it’s broken
you can hardly get it back. At times the truth might be uncomfortable but it’s
always best, your relationship will thank you for it.
Don’t pretend
Finding out that the person you
thought was a darling isn’t what he seems can be rather daunting. The amount of
effort you invested in that person and the relationship will seem like a waste.
A partner who truly loves you will do so without you trying to be someone else.
Give without expectations
When
you do something for your partner, it’s because you want to and you’re doing it
from the bottom of your heart not because you want something in return.
