Amosun warns NLC president to stay away from Ogun

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has warned the President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba, not to come to Ogun State to lead workers’ protest against the government.

Amosun gave the warning on Thursday while featuring on a live radio programme on Faaji FM.

He said that workers in Ogun State are happy with his administration as their salaries and entitlements are being paid as at when due.

Amosun accused Comrade Wabba of coming to play politics in the state with the proposed protest, and therefore advised him to go and play the politics in his state.

It will be recalled that NLC gave notice to the state government in respect of its decision to embark on protest on March 1^st, 2019, to press home the workers’ demand for the payment of all outstanding salaries and entitlements, as well as reinstatement of sacked labour leaders.
