I’m committed to the service of Ogun State – Dapo Abiodun

The Ogun State governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has reiterated his commitment to the service of the state.

Abiodun made this known on Monday at his country home in Iperu, when he was addressing a press conference on his victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election.

Governor-Elect, Dapo Abiodun and Yomi Ogunsanu
He called on the candidates who contested with him to join hands with him in moving the state forward, while emphasizing that he had no animosity against Governor Amosun on all that transpired before the election.

Prince Abiodun, who thanked the electorate for giving him their support, promised to run a government of all and for all.

According to him, his administration will place premium on public private partnership, return relevance to local governments and make sure that infrastructural development spread across the state, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) manifesto will be implemented.

On the collaboration he had with the former governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), shortly before the election, Prince Abiodun said that it is not a PDP-APC issue, but rather it was just a support he got from OGD to become the governor because he also supported OGD to become the governor in 2003.

Prince Dapo Abiodun thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Osinbajo, the National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole, Chief Bola Tinubu, Aremo Segun Osoba, National Working Committee of APC, traditional rulers, particularly Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organisation, his parents, wife and children for their support during the electioneering period.

He promised not to disappoint the people of Ogun State.
