According to him, this came less than two weeks after the incidence of abduction that occurred in the area, where the police rescued all the people that were abducted, including the son of Ode-Omi's Chief Imam.
The commissioner gave the names of those rescued as, Adams Bamidele, Adam Jelili and Sanni Azeez.
Makama confirmed that, as a result of the elongated battle between the police and the kidnappers, police recovered two cut to size guns, four live cartridges, one cylinder, one boat engine and assorted charms.
The police boss therefore implored members of the Ode-Omi community to report any case of casualties or damage of properties that might have occurred during the battle between the kidnappers and the police to the nearest police station.
