Gov. Dapo Abiodun |
This was made known on Tuesday during a parley between the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the Chief Executive Officers of private organisations across the state.
The Chief Executive Officers therefore appealed for the intervention of the governor in reducing the burden of the multiple taxation which is negatively affecting their operations.
They however assured the governor of their readiness to partner with his administration in moving the state forward, as they look forward to downward review of the various taxes and levies for the benefit of the investors and the consumers.
Earlier, Governor Abiodun has lauded the investors for putting hope and trust in the state by investing there.
He therefore urged the investors to make use of the job portal that was launched two weeks ago, which already have over 65,000 applicants that are seeking for jobs.
The governor further assured that the state government is set to support all investors in the state in achieving their goals through the various intervention policies and programmes put in place.
He appealed to the Chief Executive Officers to continue to invest in Agriculture, Education and Health care, which are the pillars and umbrella that every investor builds on.
