CORONAVIRUS: Ijebu North LG Chairman takes sensitisation campaign to markets

The Transition Committee Chairman, Ijebu North Local Government, Hon Yekeen Jayeola, Members of Transition Committee, Head of Local Government Administration and all Departmental Directors of the local government, on Monday, embarked on a day sensitisation exercise towards the prevention of the spread of the dreaded coronavirus, across markets in the Council Area.

Hon Jayeola, during the sensitisation, constituted three different teams, which were: Team A- Oru/Awa/Ilaporu, led by Hon Jayeola, Team B-Ago-Iwoye, led by Hon (Alh) Ismaila Sansa (Vice Chairman) and Team C- Ijebu Igbo, led by Hon Habeebullai Adebayo Sanwo (SLG).

The Council Chairman, during his speech, said that his administration is very much concerned about the well-being of the people in the local government, most especially on health matters and the coronavirus menace.

He advised all the teams and health workers to encourage people to avoid handshaking, hugging and observe all the  precautionary measures.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that the sensitization train visited Ago-Iwoye market, Atikori,  Obada, Oke-Sopen and Oke-Agbo markets in Ijebu-Igbo.
