COVID 19: Ewekoro Council Chairman embarks on enlightenment campaign, distributes free hand sanitizers

The Chairman, Transition Committee, Ewekoro local government, Hon. Olumuyiwa Babayemi and his wife, Mrs. Adeola Babayemi, on Sunday, took the Sensitisation and Enlightenment Campaign on the containment of COVID-19 to Obada Oko town, in the Council area.

Hon. Babayemi said, the sensitization was in furtherance of the commitment of Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the state's medical team to the implementation of measures put in place to combat the coronavirus pandemic in Ogun state.

The Chairman and his spouse, in company of the local government Medical Officers, educated the people on how to stay safe, as government is ever ready to manage the challenges.

The Council Boss advised the people to stay at home and observe all the precautionary measures of, regular hand washing with sanitizer or soap with running water, maintaining social distance, using face mask and hand glove, with emphasis on personal and environmental hygiene.

Highlights of the sensitisation campaign was the sharing of free hand sanitizers to residents of Obada Oko by Hon. Babayemi, who was assisted by his spouse.
