It was gathered that security operatives had a list containing names of party officials, staffers and journalists to be granted access into the secretariat and Mr. Giadom, who is acting as the party’s national secretary, was number one while the suspended Adams Oshiomole was no where to be found near the secretariat.
The embattled national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and the “three new party officials” (Senator Abiola Ajimobi, deputy national chairman, South; Mr. Waziri Bulama, Acting National Secretary and Mr. Paul Chukwuma, National Auditor), whose appointments he hurriedly announced last week after a court suspended him from office were also missing from the list.
It will be recalled that Mr. Giadom had announced on Sunday that he had control of party affairs in the interim pending when an acting national chairman is approved by the emergency meeting of the National Executive Committee, NEC, of the party, which has been slated for March 17, 2020.
He maintained that Oshiomhole remained suspended as ordered by the FCT High Court.
