COVID-19: Jubilation in Ago-Iwoye as Gen. Awosanya distributes food items

It was jubilation galore at the palace of Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, on Thursday, when the food items donated by Maj. Gen. (Dr.) S. A Awosanya, were distributed to residents of the town, to alleviate the hardships associated with the stay at home order in Ogun State.

Some of the beneficiaries of the food items 

The distribution of the food items was coordinated by Olori Olanike Adenugba and Princess Adenike Tolofari, the former Chairman of Ago-Iwoye Central Development Council.

The Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, commended Gen. Awosanya, for coming to the aid of the less privileged and vulnerable members of the society at this difficult time.

Oba Adenugba appealed to other well meaning indigenes of Ago-Iwoye, to stand up and be counted at this crucial time.

Some of the beneficiaries of Gen. Awosanya's gesture, who spoke to Great Achiever Magazine, thanked him for remembering his kinsmen and not allowing them to suffer.

They also appealed to other indigenes who are well to do, to emulate the good deed of Baba Oba of Ago-Iwoye.
