President Muhammadu Buhari, had during his last nationwide broadcast on Monday, disclosed that there will be curfew throughout the country from 8pm to 6am, effective from Monday 4th May, 2020.
Buhari said: "There will be an overnight curfew from 8pm to 6am, which means all movements will be prohibited during this period except those on essential services".
He explained that the curfew will prevent overnight inter state travel, which has contributed to the increase in the spread of coronavirus across the states.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the President charged the law enforcement agents to strictly enforce the curfew, while he warned that those who flout the curfew directive will be seriously dealt with.
