Ebumawe celebrates Annual Harvest Thanksgiving at Methodist Cathedral

The Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, on Sunday, celebrated the Annual Harvest Thanksgiving at Methodist Cathedral, Ago-Iwoye.

The 2020 Harvest Thanksgiving of HRH Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye and his Chiefs was officiated by the Presbyter, Olumide Faluyi, who prayed for continuous peace, progress and development of Ago-Iwoye during the reign of Oba Adenugba.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that the families of Late Oba D.M Osiyemi, Oba Adesanya and Oba Lateef Adewale were in the Church to represent the past Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye at the Annual Harvest Thanksgiving service.

Speaking on the significance of the Annual Harvest Thanksgiving, Oba Adenugba said it is an avenue to thank God for the good things He has done for him, his family and Ago-Iwoye community at large.

Oba Adenugba said as a Royal Father, he participates fully in all religious activities in his domain despite the fact that he is a Muslim.


The monarch enjoined the people of Ago-Iwoye to continue to be peaceful and prayerful so that the town will continue to witness more development.
