Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has felicitated the Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba on his 65th birthday anniversary.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that the governor, in a letter dated 29th January, 2021, which he personally signed, said: "Kabiyesi, the occasion of your 65th birthday on Wednesday, 3 February, 2021, provides me yet another opportunity to convey special felicitations and best wishes of my family, the government and good people of Ogun State to Your Majesty. Congratulations!

"Almighty Allah has indeed endowed you with His benevolence of good health and multi-faceted accomplishments that belies your age. Your reign as the Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye in the last seventeen years has witnessed unprecedented development and visible transformation in all areas.

"The harmony, unity, peace and cooperation that exist amongst the people of Ago-Iwoye on one hand and the Olabisi Onabanjo University community on the other can be attributed to your unique style of inclusive leadership and broad mindedness".

Governor Abiodun noted that the monarch's  experience as a banker and businessman has also imbued him with great sense of solidarity with his people, saying that the commonality of Oba Adenugba's birthday and the anniversary of the creation of Ogun State is not just a soothing coincidence but a providential validation of his zeal and commitment to the development of "our shared patrimony".

The governor said he joined the royal family, friends, associates and the entire people of Ago-Iwoye to thank Almighty Allah for His benevolence, while praying that He continues to bless Oba Adenugba with more blissful years in good health and sound mind to further take Ago Iwoye and Ogun State to greater heights.
