Ogun State government has excluded the long abandoned Ago-Iwoye/Ilisan road from the list of inherited road projects which were approved for recommencement.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, approved the recommencement of some inherited road reconstruction projects.
According to the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ade Akinsanya, the roads include the 8km Erunwon-Atan road, 13km Sagamu-Ode Lemo road, Old Bank Rd-Oritameje-Coker Junction-Oluomo Spur Road and the 8km Mowe-Ofada Road.
Great Achiever Magazine learnt that while work has already commenced on the Erunwon-Atan Road and Sagamu-Ode Lemo Road, contractors will soon return to site on the Mowe-Ofada Road in Obafemi Owode LGA and Old Bank Rd-Oritameje-Coker Junction-Oluomo Spur Road in Ifo LG.
