The concert of popular Nigerian artiste, Naira Marley which was scheduled to hold in Cameroon on February 14, was reportedly cancelled and was allegedly disrupted after entertainers called on the country’s Special Forces Soldiers.

Music journalist, Joey Akan who raised an alarm of a “struggling comedian” named CY International leading an anti-Nigerian movement in the country and many disgruntled entertainers calling for a ban on Nigerian music, revealed that the tickets to the special Valentine’s Day concert which was initially scheduled to hold in Buea, the capital of the Southwest region were sold out before Cameroonian entertainers appealed to their government to ban the event.

However after the show was banned on grounds of Naira Marley being a bad influence on Cameroonian youths, smoking marijuana and having a sex tape, the show promoter who invested heavily in the event moved it from Buea to Limbe.

The disgruntled Cameroonian entertainers reportedly called in the special forces who scattered venue of the event and also carried out same act when it was moved to Douala.
