Ogun: Ebumawe declares 7-day Traditional 'Oro' activities in Ago-Iwoye

The Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, has announced the commencement of 7-day traditional 'Oro' activities in the town.

According to a statement released by the monarch, the traditional 'Oro' activities will begin on Thursday, 17th June and end on Wednesday, 23rd June, 2021, from 11.00pm to 5.00am daily.

Oba Adenugba disclosed that the traditional 'Oro' activities are part of measures put in place to confront insecurity in the community.

He therefore appealed to residents, visitors and general public, particularly staff and  students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, to adhere to the restriction of movement within the specified period of 11.00pm to 5.00am daily while the traditional 'Oro' activities last.
