There appears to be a new twist to the position of Baale of Aba-Paanu Moborode Village, Ago-Iwoye, as an indigene of the village, Mr. Wole Banjo, who is based in Canada claimed that his elder brother, Mr. Segun Banjo, was the Baale-Elect of Aba-Paanu Moborode as far back as November 2020.

In some documents and information made available to Great Achiever Magazine, Wole Banjo claimed that, "My brother had been appointed as Baale Moborode Abapanu as far back as last November 2020 in accordance with the normal tradition of appointing Baale by the Alase Alli Osikogbe Descendants from time immemorial, along with the custodian of its deities when the village was founded by our great grandfather Alase Alli Osikogbe till date".(sic)

Wole Banjo said there can't be another Baale without legal removal of Mr. Segun Banjo who was rightfully appointed since last year.

He said Ifa Oracle chose his brother three times coupled with the fact that he had fulfilled all the traditional rites.
