A special fridau prayer has been held in remembrance of late Oloolu Raimi Adebajo Adekoya (Ajanoku), the father of Rt. Hon. Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya, who died twenty years ago.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the special prayer session, which was held on Thursday, 14th October, 2021, attracted a mammoth crowd at the residence of Late Raimi Adekoya, located at No 7, Griffin Adekoya Street, Imososi Quarters, Abobi, Ago-Iwoye.
Late Oloolu Raimi Adebajo Adekoya was the immediate past Oloolu of Ako-Matoole Community.
Hon. Adesegun Adekoya, Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives, while paying tribute to his late father, thanked God for the exemplary life lived by his father, adding that the solid foundation laid by his father for his children in terms of proper upbringing made him what he is today.
He prayed God to continue to grant his late father peaceful rest.
