Ago-Iwoye born victim of gas explosion cries out for help

A victim of gas explosion, Adelaja Sunday Adeyemi, has appealed to Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and other kind hearted members of the public for financial assistance to treat himself from the injuries he suffered during a gas explosion.


The victim, a commercial motorcycle rider and native of Ago-Iwoye, said he was involved in an accident at Arigbabu area of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, in July, 2021.



Narrating the incident to Great Achiever Magazine, Adelaja said, a commercial tricycle was loaded with gas cylinders, one of which got leaked and caught fire which affected him as he rode past the tricycle.


 Adeyemi said he was rushed to the general hospital, Ijebu-Ode, for treatment along with the passenger he carried, but unfortunately, the passenger died five days after.



After spending some days at the general hospital, he was referred to several other hospitals for treatment which consumed his savings, thereby making him unable to cope with further medical expenses.


Adeyemi therefore appeals to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and other well meaning Nigerians to come to his aid to enable him receive adequate treatment for the high degree of burns which he suffered during the gas explosion.
