Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, hosted the executive management teams of Parallex Bank, led by Managing Director, Femi Bakre and that of Lotus Bank, led by Managing Director, Kafilat Araoye.
Sanwo-Olu informed the visiting bankers that Lagos State is a financially credible government that has never defaulted in terms of repayment and other obligations.
The governor said: "Our administration is a service-driven one with a commitment to the citizens by improving quality of lives, providing security and providing a friendly and conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
"We are open to doing additional businesses with any of the financial institutions", the governor added.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that Governor Sanwo-Olu assured the bank executives that Lagos will continue to be a major player in the public sector space and "we are very disciplined in our dealings with financial institutions".
In his remarks, Femi Bakre assured Governor Sanwo-Olu of Parallex Bank's readiness to do business with Lagos State government.
