Prince Segun Kaka, Ag. Chairman, ACDC

The annual Ago-Iwoye Day Celebration which was suspended for two years because of COVID-19 in 2020, is set to return.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that the annual celebration was suspended in 2020 and 2021 because of the ravaging effect of COVID-19 at that time.

While announcing the preparation for the 2022 Ago-Iwoye Day Celebration, the Acting Chairman of Ago-Iwoye Central Development Council (ACDC), Prince Segun Kaka, told Great Achiever Magazine that several activities have been lined up for the week long event which will hold between 3rd and 9th October, 2022, while the grand finale will take place on Saturday, 8th October, 2022.

Prince Kaka also disclosed that the Central Planning Committee under the leadership of Otunba Kunle Ogundipe has been constituted to take charge of organising a befitting and successful 2022 Ago-Iwoye Day Celebration.

He therefore called on all indigenes, residents and friends of Ago-Iwoye to participate fully in all the activities lined up for the celebration, adding that their support and contributions will go a long way in making the event a memorable one.
