A Non-Governmental Organisation, Ago-Iwoye Great Thinkers Trust Foundation (AIGTT) is set to hold a N500m Fund Raising event in support of Community Development Projects which it intends to embark on, Great Achiever Magazine reports.
AIGTT in a release said the Fund Raising event will take place on Saturday, 3rd September, 2022, at WosAm ARENA, Ago-Iwoye.
The event is expected to be graced by sons and daughters of Ago-Iwoye, as well as eminent personalities from all walks of life, who are invited for the occasion.
Some of the projects which AIGTT is planning to embark on include: construction of multi million naira Specialist Hospital complex with state of the art medical equipment; acquisition of 100 acres of land for Agriculture and construction of well equipped Vocational centre for skills acquisition by youths.
The Foundation appeals to its invited guests, sons and daughters of Ago-Iwoye and well wishers to donate generously in support of execution of its various projects.
Some of the past interventions carried out by AIGTT were; donation of wheel chairs, grinding machines, generators, barbing salon equipment to the physically challenged, facilitation of jobs to qualified applicants, education support to indigent students and medical support to sick people.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that AIGTT, which has Major General (Dr) S.A Awosanya, mni, as the Chairman of its Board of Trustees, is an offshoot of a platform called Ago-Iwoye City Development Great Thinkers, which was created in 2016 by some distinguished sons and daughters of Ago-Iwoye, both at home and in the Diaspora.
The Foundation aims to promote the greatness of Ago-Iwoye and its citizens in the areas of Health, Education, Economic well being, Training and Skills Acquisition.
