Traditional worshippers storm police station, release arrested drummer

A group of traditional worshippers stormed a police station in the Eredo area of Epe in Lagos state recently and effected the release of their drummer arrested by some officers on September 20.

The traditional worshippers who were clad in all white and each carrying a cane, made their way into the premises of the police station before demanding the release of their drummer who was arrested by an officer attached to the station.

In a video shared online, one of the traditional worshippers claimed they also prompted the release of other suspects held at the police station in Eredo in the Epe area of Lagos state.
