The League of Imams & Alfas of Ijebuland has installed a prominent businessman and great philanthropist, Aare (Alhaji) Safiriyu Adebanjo Kazeem, as Fakharul Islam of Ijebuland.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the colourful installation ceremony was held on Sunday, 18th December, 2022, at Ijebu Ode Central Mosque, Ijebu Ode.
The Mufti of Ijebuland, Chief Imam Lukman Balogun, in his sermon at the occasion, extolled the virtues of Alhaji Kazeem, and described him as a distinguished son of Ijebuland who is using his God given resources to promote Islam.
He said the installation and turbanning of Alhaji Kazeem as Fakharul Islam of Ijebuland could not have come at a better time, as the Muslim community in Ijebuland is proud of Alhaji Kazeem's outstanding qualities and accomplishments in his various endeavours.
Alhaji Kazeem, who is also the first Balogun Musulumi of Ogun State and Aare Musulumi of Ago-Iwoye, thanked the League of Imams & Alfas for the honour done to him and promised not to relent in supporting Islam and doing good at all times.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that Alhaji Safiriyu Kazeem is the Chief Executive Officer of SAF Petroleum among many other businesses.
