Ogun: APC inaugurates Ado-Odo/Ota LG Campaign Council

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government chapter, Ogun State, is poised to deliver massively in the 2023 general elections.


According to a press release signed by Hon. Kayode Taiwo, the party, in achieving its goal inaugurated the Campaign Council during a special Stakeholders meeting held at the Ota residence of the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele.


In her admonition to the powerful team of seasoned politicians and professionals at the occasion, Engr Salako-Oyedele said the reason for the careful selection of the team is that the party is not leaving anything to chance as a clean sweep of the Local Government by the party is the ultimate goal, adding that the team must work with all stakeholders within and outside the party, particularly the community leaders, youths, professional bodies and party members to ensure success.


The Central Campaign Committee has Hon. Sesan Fagbayi of Ejila Awori as Chairman, Hon Segun Ojolowo as Vice Chairman, Hon Kola Salako as Secretary, Hon Wasiu Lawal as Chairman Finance/Treasurer, Chief Kemi Adeogun, Contact & Mobilisation, Hon JJ Akeran as Party Coordinator while Hon. Kayode Taiwo is in charge of Media and Publicity. With over 100 notable members from the sixteen Wards, supported by another team from the five former LCDAs to complement, APC is determined to return with total victory.


Speaking on behalf of the candidates of the party, Hon Tunji Akinosi appealed to members to work together as one, noting that, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a thorough bred politician that can improve and turn things around for the Country, reminding the team that the combination of Prince Dapo Abiodun and Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele has been fair to the entire state and can be trusted for another term.


The Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Hon Fagbayi assured the party leaders that the Committee will work tirelessly as a team to deliver electoral victory, appealing to the members to carry the message of hope, development and good times for members back to their various wards.

Some of the leaders in attendance include, Chief Jide Ojuko, Chief Samuel Ayedogbon, Hon Sewanu Sewedo from Ere Ward, the Chairman of Elders Council, Chief Ajibose and the Local Government Council Chairman, Hon Yusuf along with Party Chairman, Hon Akeran. 


Great Achiever Magazine reports that during the event, a former House of Representatives Aspirant on the platform of PDP, Hon Omoroga and his supporters also declared for APC with the plan to do the public declaration with his teeming supporters soonest.
