Tele Ogunjobi meets Gov Abiodun, set to decamp to APC

L-R: Sen. Lekan Mustapha, Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi, Gov. Dapo Abiodun, Tokunbo Talabi

Arrangements have been finalized for Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi, the Wazeeru Muslumi of Ijebuland to decamp to All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ogunjobi, an aspirant for the House of Representatives in Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency under People's Democratic Party ((PDP), has met Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for discussions prior to his official move to APC.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi contested the PDP primary election in 2022, the result of which is now a subject of litigation at the Supreme Court.

Tele Ogunjobi, a popular politician from Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North local government area of Ogun State will move to APC together with his followers.

Speaking with Great Achiever Magazine, Ogunjobi said his decision to join APC was as a result of injustice he suffered in PDP, a party he described as fast losing credibility in Ogun State due to injustice and internal wranglings among various members and factions within the party.

He assured that he will continue to contribute his quota to the development of Ogun State and particularly the reelection of Governor Dapo Abiodun for second term through the platform of APC.

Ogunjobi enjoined all his followers to vote massively for all the APC candidates in the coming election.
