Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has given a 500kva 33 lines transformer to Lugbedu community in Ago-Iwoye, Great Achiever Magazine reports.
The transformer, which was facilitated by Commissioner 2 in Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Hon. Moruf Adebayo Adesegun (Murphy), was in fulfilment of the promise of Dapo Abiodun-led administration to bring infrastructural development down to the nooks and crannies of the state.
According to Hon. Adebayo Adesegun, the new transformer will bring succour to the residents of Lugbedu in Ward 10 area of Ijebu North Constituency 2, Ago-Iwoye, who have suffered untold hardships due to epileptic power supply in the past.
Adesegun noted that the new transformer will also boost commercial activities and improve the quality of lives of residents of the area.
He said the people of Lugbedu community greatly appreciated Dapo Abiodun, who they described as 'talk and do governor' for the good gesture, assuring that they are solidly behind him on his second term bid.
