The Muslim High School (MHS), Ago-Iwoye is set to celebrate the 46th Anniversary of the school's existence.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the National President of the Old Students Association of MHS, Mrs Morenikeji Olaiwole, FCA, in a statement said several activities have been lined up to commemorate the event which will hold from Wednesday, 22nd to Saturday 25th November, 2023.
The statement added that Awareness rally by students of the school has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 22nd November while Quiz competition amongst secondary school students in Ago-Iwoye as well as Public Lecture will be held on Thursday, 23rd November, 2023.
On Friday, 24th November, there will be a visit to the Orphanage Home at 10.00am and commemorative Jumat Service will hold at Ago-Iwoye Central Mosque at 1.30pm. On the same day, old students of the school, who are expected to wear their school uniform as back to school programme, will pay homage to Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba at his palace at 3pm.
The grand finale of the 46th Anniversary will be held on Saturday, 25th November, 2023, with the launching of N25 million Naira Appeal Fund for the school's development, while Awards will be given to some philanthropists who have been assisting the school in the past, prominent Muslim leaders and old students that have excelled in their careers.
Oba Abdul-Razaq Adenugba is expected to be the Royal Father of the Day, while Aare (Alhaji) Safiriyu Kazeem, the Balogun Musulumi of Ogun State will be the Father of the Day at the occasion.
