Col Onalaja congratulates Ago-Iwoye born Yemi Badewole on SAN conferment

The Balogun of Ago-Iwoye, Sir (Col) Dr Ademola Onalaja, has sent message of congratulations to Mrs Olayemi Badewole SAN (nee Onalaja) on her elevation to the rank of prestigious Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN.


Col Onalaja said Mrs Olayemi Badewole was appointed as a result of her excellence and adherence to the code of ethics of law profession.


The Balogun of Ago-Iwoye said, "Our sister is the first Lawyer to be so honoured in Ago-Iwoye and this is worth celebrating.  


"On behalf of Onalaja Descendants, I wish Yemi all the very best in her legal profession as she continues to be outstanding in all her endeavours and to the glory of God.    


"Please, join me in appreciating and celebrating our worthy sister who is happily married to Major General Muyiwa Badewole (Rtd)".   


In her comments, the Head of Onalaja's family in Ago-Iwoye, Prof. Moji Ogungbe, a retired Professor of Law from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, said, "Our great SAN, Mrs Yemi Badewole (nee Onalaja), I'm very proud of your achievements in our great Profession, the Legal Profession. I'm happy to congratulate you on this great honour done you to make you the First Silk in our family and our great town, Ago-Iwoye. 


"You shall continue to rise to greater height in abundance of good health IJMN. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours in life.


"Once again congratulations my dear sister and learned SAN".


Other family members were also joyful with the feat attained by Mrs Badewole and expressed gratitude to God on her behalf.


Mrs Badewole has 25 years of experience as a seasoned lawyer in areas of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Civil Litigations, Arbitration Proceedings, Perfection of Titles and Realization of Securities. 


She has been the Principal Partner at Badewole & Company for over 22 years. She also worked as an Associate at F.G. Adewole & Co.


Mrs Badewole, a graduate of University of Lagos, holds a BA (Hons) History, LL.B (Hons) and LL.M.


She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Securities and Exchange Commission.
