The Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, HRH Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, has unveiled the newly built A1 Hotel and Apartments.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the hotel was declared open by the Monarch on Sunday, 9th June, 2024.
Oba Adenugba, while speaking at the occasion, showered encomium on the owner of the hotel, Asogbon Lebi Odunayo, popularly known as My Choice, for making Ago-Iwoye the destination of his various investments.
The royal father, while going memory lane, recalled when Asogbon wanted to establish My Choice Computer Business at Ibipe area of Ago-Iwoye and the challenges he faced over land, adding that it was in the course of the challenges that he met Asogbon.
Oba Adenugba described Asogbon as a man of vision who is highly focused, noting that this trait endeared Asogbon to him.
He commended Asogbon for establishing all his businesses in Ago-Iwoye despite the fact that he is not an indigene of the town.
Oba Adenugba, who did not hide his feelings, confessed that he always stood by Asogbon whenever he had challenges because he saw in him a young man with zeal and determination to succeed despite all odds, adding that Ago-Iwoye today is a beneficiary of the unflinching support which he gave to Asogbon in terms of employment opportunities which Ago-Iwoye indigenes are deriving from his businesses.
The Monarch, while praying for the success of the new hotel, appealed to sons and daughters of Ago-Iwoye to emulate Asogbon by establishing businesses in Ago-Iwoye to bring about more development in the town.
In his remarks, Asogbon Lebi Odunayo thanked Oba Adenugba for his fatherly support over the years, promising that he would not take the support for granted.
He also extends his appreciation to the people of Ago-Iwoye for the patronage they give to his businesses, assuring that he would not disappoint them.
