Ogun Local Govt election holds Nov 16

Local Government Elections for the chairmen in the twenty local governments and councillors in the two hundred and thirty six wards in Ogun State will hold on Saturday, 16th November, 2024, Great Achiever Magazine reports.

According to local government election time table released by Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) and signed by its Chairman, Babatunde Osibodu, candidates for the election are expected to obtain nomination forms from OGSIEC headquarters not later than Tuesday, 22nd October, 2024, while completed forms must be submitted by Friday, 1st November, 2024.

Names of all successful candidates for the election will be published on 4th November, 2024, as such candidates so published will be deemed qualified to contest in the elections.
